Hi People!!
For ppl who havent been checking mlg: Lavisha is working on a cd fulla videos on our memoirs. She has taken much time to figure out a way to reach it to you and has finally decided to burn it into cds. Please do note that it costs a dollar.Just a dollar.

You can pass her the money on the following times:
a) on musical evening prac days(you have to ask me and set a day personally)
b)MUSICAL EVENING 1 day(if you are going)
c) Sec 1 Reg day ( I will be with the peer leaders)
d)note: if you know you will not be able to pass me, let me know or arrange to pass it to someone who will pass it to me!!!

Please bring $10 when you come to pay for the chalet. Wear class tee on 1st day. We'll be having lunch before we head to the chalet to check in.

I really hope that as many of us will go to the chalet. We would'nt know if we ever have another chance to go out together. We may or may not be in the same class next year, so i hope that we can take time off to go there. The last day of school was really miserable. Nothing to remember. Hopefully, the chalet will hold dear memories for our class which we will remember forever. It'll show how united our class is.

Even if you can't stay overnight, try to stay for the 1st day till dinner. We're going to have barbecue.
Please do your best to come down. We should end this year with wonderful memories together.
And those who cant make it, i do hope you have a good reason for it.

I believe you'll still remember that I told you'll about the skit thing for this year's Racial Harmony Day. So, apparently, the class has to write the skit together. If you don't understand what I mean, just read the repost of Mr Siow's announcement:

"Dear Crescent Ambassadors,

Please get your class to write the script for a skit on Racial Harmony, entitled: 'Celebrating Diversity: What makes Singapore tick?' Then arrange with the other class ambassadors to decide on the best script to use for the skit. Finally, arrange to rehearse the skit to be staged on Racial Harmony Day, Mon., 21 July 2008, at 7.20 am. Post your script and date of rehearsal on the Sec 2 Discussion Board, so that I can monitor the progress. There is not much time left, so do give this project your urgent attention.

well I have had the class t shirt designs with me for the past 2 weeks and I've been constantly forgetting to put them up and ask you guys! At least I remembered today :D

Dear 2G2-ers,

The recent post by SMilez Always has stirred up some rather [ahem] remarks from some people. I would like to say that smilez always has a point in her post.

We need to respect others in order to gain respect from them. Put yourself in the presenter's shoes. How would you feel?

We are ladies and leaders of tomorrow.

It may sound crappy to many but that is what we have to be. Graciousness and social etiquette all play a part in this. We have to be gentle ladies. Not hooligans.

As to anonymous names, if the person chooses to remain anonymous, it is her own personal doing, something we can't control. Some people prefer to remain anonymous while other's wish to let people know who they are.

We must co-operate with each other. We have to be harmonized and not having a mist of disharmony about to descend upon us.

A situation in which people live and work well with other people, and in a way that does not damage things around them.

I hope we can move on and not continue to bicker over this.

i can't believe it..!! i know our class love to joke about alot but today it was just too much.. especially for some people.. You know who you are.. i won't pin-point anyone... The presenter was teaching us some values which could be important to us, especially in this digital-aged world. Yet, someone had the cheek to actually say that 'at least you know you are boring'....
this is really very rude.. if you actually didnt notice he was trying to make this session more interactive and lively.. if you didnt want to listen, why couldnt you just keep your comments to yourself.. it wouldn't harm you to just ZIP UP, wouldn't it?

Aren't people suppose to be more mature as they grow older? but, somehow, this does not seem to happen for our class. Sometimes, we get out of hand. Make too much noise and keep laughing. that's fine... just like how i always put it.., KEEP SMiling..
however, there are times when we have to really be disciplined. Sometimes, i just feel that we show no respect at all... Be it for a teacher or even our own classmates doing a presentation... be it more, to a guest today..

i really feel very sad for us.. we have given a very bad impression to a guest about ourselves.. aren't you ashamed? coz' i AM.....!!! it would have been a truly enjoyable session if ya'll would just be more pro-active, active listeners.

i really don't know what else to say... I really hope ya'll would think about what happened today, especially those who weren't being nice to the speaker..
Being respectful will bring you a long way...
it will not hurt you to learn to be more respectful..
Seriously, please think about it...

Class Outing

Hey ppl!
just a recount bout the class outing....at west coast park, 20th Novenber...
1stly, glad to say at least 17 ppl turned up on tt day(:

the beginning
ok the outing: let's say, firstly, things didn't go as planned...
we were expecting enough vacant seats at macs for the class( or at least i was expecting (: ) but it was sooooooooooo crowded la! the last time i went there it was practically deserted!
so nvm, we went to hunt for a place. That was when we came to the field.....and Shamera suggested to move to right in the middle of it...with the mud and all..
we later found a better place so we moved.....and moved again to a few benches..and moved AGAIN! to this time...a table.
games
After lunch we had treasure hunt! But there was sth wrong wif the clues so mostly Shamera, Deepa and I improvised...it was hmm...manageable(:
everyone present had pens, two boxes of chocolates were given to the first grp, 1 box of chocoates to the 2nd and cookies to the last...
oh! sth tt i bet everyone remembered! cuz most of us got sprayed by Shamera by her huge water gun!
outing interuppted
I felt abit cheated though...everything went well...then it had to RAIN so once again we moved to macs...it stopped raining....we were happy...went to play and the friggin rain came again! like so irritated la!

but the sadest thing of all....was probably when 1 bag of cupcakes, specially baked for the class by Shame, fell to the ground...so can't be eaten...
we couldn't even light the candles due to too much wind. otherwise we would had celebrated the entire class b'day with a real cake!

but it was fun nevertheless(;
whether the cakes were eaten i'm not sure as i left early
but i'll consider the outing a success!(:
If we have enough class funds next year, we chld go somewhere better! with more fun and games!

I don't even know why I'm bothering to do this. I'm so ashamed of you guys I don't think you even deserve my respect. The class outing this tuesday, know how many people are coming?

It's not even a freaking quarter of the class.

So you guys give an excuse that we're not bonded enough but guess what. YOU people who don't give a damn about the class is the REASON we're not even bonded. And if you give a bloody lame excuse that the outing is going to flop, I'll slap you. Seriously. Are you guys stupid or something?! The only way the outing is going to flop is because you people don't give a damn about the class outing and decide to skip it. AND YOU GUYS COMPLAIN THE CLASS IS NOT FREAKING BONDED. Oh and if you think it's cool to not have a bonded class, I can't comment because that's just having a stupid mindset.

Here's the thing. We're going to be together for another year and I really don't want to look back at my Sec 1 and Sec 2 classes when I'm in Sec 4 or graduated from Crescent and don't remember any one of you. For all I know, you people will probably be happy when we go separate ways in Sec 3.

Oh and you know what? The way you guys treat Sharmera is really appalling. You have no respect for her, at all. She's done so much for the class but you all don't realise it do you? She might be a moron sometimes but truthfully, I think she's one of the nicest Chairpersons who you people don't deserve and take advantage of.

When people ask what class I'm from, I'm embarrassed to tell them. You know why? Because it's filled with a bunch of ignorant and disrespectful students.

Wanna wish everyone out there all the best for Final-year-exams..

My previous post:
If you chose HAlf-empty then i'm sorry to say that you are a pessimist..
IF you chose HALf-full then you are on the right path my friendz.. you are an optimist....
How we look at things can actually affect our outlook in life.. BY saying that the glass was half full, you are actually appreciating the things that you have and treasuring them....

Here's a few advice for ya'll.....
1)DO NOT sleep late at night just to study for the exams/last minute revision (It is highly not advisable coz' you tend to get mental block when you wake up)
2)Always stay calm
3)Regulate your breathing when you are nervous right before the paper (Breath in and out slowly)

Time to post again! First off, I have a super important announcement!

The school will start their BLOGCHECKING soon! Here's some things you can do to protect your blog:
1. delete improper posts (flaming, blabla, whatever)
2. delete your links (okay, I don't think we want to do this, but don't risk it!)
3. make your blog PASSWORD PROTECTED.

Starting from MONDAY, I will install password protection onto the class blog. The password is our class ADJECTIVE! or whatever you call it. Sure know one(:

*sigh* Time really flies so fast.. with all the work that we have been doing, you just don't realise that time have been passing.. It's been 8mnths since we 1st met and entered school!!
We have known one another 8 months better.. heheh honestly, it feels as though we have been together for more than 8 months..
i read this somewhere.....,
always remember that the ladder to success is a ladder and not an escalator... :)
It means that there's no shortcut to achieving what you wanna achieve. You have to do it step by step and with patience. You can lose your balance and fall down a couple of steps but you should still carry on climbing it..
